chicken hinalang ingredients
- 1 whole native chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 1 medium sliced ginger, sliced
- 1/2 tbsp peppercorns (pamitang bilog)
- 3 red hot chili (siling haba)
- 2 cans coconut milks
- 1/2 cup water
- salt to taste (optional)
- 1 bundle lemon grass(tanglad)
how to prepare
- place native chicken and lemon grass into a saucepan, add water, and bring it to boil
- add the cup coconut milk and combine all ingredients
- put chopped onion, garlic, pepper and ginger
- boil the native chicken for about 30 to 60 mins or until done it depends on how old your native chicken
- add salt to taste and red hot chili, simmer for 5 mins
- serve hot with lots of rice
